Hearing Loss Association of Michigan
(formerly Michigan SHHH) was formed in 1995 to educate hard of hearing
consumers about hearing loss and assistive technology for hard of
hearing people, to advocate for hard of hearing people's needs and
to offer support to individuals throughout the state. Programs include
our free newsletter "The Mi-SHHH-ganian". The latest issue can be
found under the information link to the left. We also host an annual
Chapter Leaders workshop, bi-annual State Conference and Exposition
and provide presentations by trained Hearing Technology Resource Specialists.
HLA-MI's board of trustees meets quarterly, usually in Lansing. Trustees
must be a member of Hearing Loss Association of America and a resident
of Michigan. Trustees serve as Chapter or At-Large representatives.
Trustees are elected each January and serve a three year
term. If you are interested in serving on our Board of Trustees, fill out
